Tyre pressures are also checked and adjusted for safety and efficiency. This quick but important service helps maintain engine health, improve fuel economy, and ensure your vehicle stays reliable on the road.
A minor service is especially important for modern diesel engines because regular oil and filter changes help prevent soot buildup, protect sensitive components like the turbocharger and DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter), and maintain fuel efficiency and engine reliability.
We recommend this service either six months on vehicle doing high mileage throughout the year, or around the 5,000 mile mark. Some manufacturers recommend different timeframes or mileages.

Full Service
A full service provides a comprehensive inspection and maintenance of your vehicle to ensure it’s in top condition. It includes replacing the engine oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, and cabin (pollen) filter. All fluids are checked and topped up, including coolant, brake fluid, and screenwash. The brakes are inspected and serviced, suspension and steering components are checked for wear, and tyre pressures and tread depths are reviewed for safety. This thorough service helps prevent breakdowns, improves performance, and keeps your car running safely and efficiently.
We recommend this service either yearly, or around the 10,000 mile mark. Some manufacturers recommend different timeframes or mileages.

Major Service
A major service is the most comprehensive level of maintenance. It includes all the checks and replacements from a full service such as oil, filters, and brake inspections, plus additional important tasks to keep your vehicle in peak condition. These include replacing the brake fluid to maintain safe braking performance and flushing the engine coolant to protect against overheating and corrosion. Other items such as gearbox or differential fluid may be replaced if applicable. A major service ensures your vehicle continues to perform safely, efficiently, and reliably for years to come.
We recommend this service every four years, or around the 40,000 mile mark. Some manufacturers recommend different timeframes or mileages.
